Get ready for On The Meadow Festival 2025

You've seen the line-up announcement through ArtsyMix. You've seen the big updates with Laurie Wright announced as the Acoustic Stage Headliner. The wait is almost over. It's time to get into the moooooooood. On The Meadow Festival is this Saturday, 19 July 2025 at Signature Brew, Blackhorse Road in Walthamstow.

Larkins are the festival headliners, while Laurie Wright is the Acoustic Stage healinder. Here's a video of Laurie Wright playing at Soccer Six, after proving to be an absolute baller on the pitch:

Other names that stand out include The Kairos, as well as the band associated with the organizers, Emergency Break. They are the only act returning from last year. Here's a clip from their set in 2024:

They dressed up last year and they're planning something special again for this year.

You can also expect Leo to crowd-surf, especially as there will be even more fans. The festival has already sold a lot more tickets than last year and it could sell out.

 

They're joined by two bands that supported in recent months. Archangels (at The Grace) and Artaca (at the O2 Academy Islington):

 

The acoustic stage features popular names including Chris Daley, Tom McQ and Frazer Morgan. There's also a set from Leo. That's not Leo of Emergency Break. It's the pope. He's playing an acoustic set. Nah, it's not the pope either. Leo plays bass with Laurie Wright, but he's also a solo singer and he has a unique retro style.

How to get there

Travel to Blackhorse Road Station and walk to Forest Road bus stop (BE) outside the CO-OP store. Either take bus 158 for 1 stop, or just walk. From Priestley Way bus stop (BF), turn left into Priestley Way, walk to the end of the road and turn right.
