Can You Feel It - Emergency Break
A source of angry energy that makes you want to join in and sing along.
Just 4 weeks after the release of Everything You Make I Break, young rock band Emergency Break have another new single. Another high tempo rock song that gets the crowd wild.
Just like their previous single, Can You Feel It is a source of angry energy that makes you want to join in and sing along. It’s perfect for live shows, which the band are focusing a lot on. They’ve already had their fans jumping up and down to the rhythm of this song in many live shows they’ve had in recent months. And also like their previous single, the title is in all capitals, highlighting their anger.
The production is consistent with the sound in their live performances, in which they have 3 electric guitars on stage. It starts with the nice and clean sound of the Telecaster before the drums and the distorted guitars kick in to give you a rich rock sound, with Leo’s voice blending in perfectly. It’s a little bit like Nirvana style, but at a higher tempo.
Their productions are getting better and better, as they’re starting to make their mark on the indie rock scene, with regular live performances and with a developing studio track collection, with plans to grow it significantly during this calendar year.
They’re consistent with their sound, their approach, their lyrics, their image, their attitude. The six young men in uniform, are establishing their identity through their studio tracks, as well as their live performances. The release of Everything You Make Or Break was a significant landmark, as it established their identity and their intent. Their new song Can You Feel It, is very much in line with that.
The release comes just a week before their latest headline show, at O2 Academy in Islington. They have already sold out a headline show at The Camden Assembly. They’re also playing at On The Meadow in August. A festival they organized themselves, which will be headlined by Toby Sebastian.
Emergency Break have more releases coming up, as they’ve already planned to release their first EP in the next few months. It could be released Any Given Friday...
