Gig review: Alex Spencer's gig at The Grace which turned out to be a headliner.

In the heart of London, near live music venues, I caught up with 3 out of 5 members of an exciting rock band, Sweet Unrest. Lead singer Jack and guitarists Tom and Marlo. I've seen them live a few times and I like a lot of their songs. I was interested to know what plans and ambitions they have for the future.

A dramatic story, narrated in an intense, sharp and punchy arrangement with a sudden climax.

Dollface tells the story of a fictional character, a girl called Jane, who finds temporary fame online and struggles to cope and control herself. Too quick, too sudden, too hard to handle at such a young age, resulting in tragedy.

A new song by Grace Calver is always a breath of fresh air. You can always rely on her to come up with cool original lyrics. “She doesn’t want you, just get over yourself”, “I’m cool cos I listen to Weezer”, adding to the collection of brilliant lines.
