M60’s biggest show in London
M60 returned to London to deliver a pleasing performance to a sell-out crowd at The Grace. Equipped with a collection of relatively new up-beat rock songs, the 4-piece band from Manchester had their biggest performance in the capital yet.
The biggest part of the set, was up-beat indie rock (and pop) with catchy riffs, lively rhythms and some cheeky lyrics. Matt used his charisma and his ability to interact with the crowd, getting them to join the party and sing along. The set included just one ballad, right in the middle of the show. But what a ballad.
A life size cut-out of Gary Neville was also on stage throughout the set. The band are on a mission to get the former footballer to listen to their music, by constantly tagging him on social media. They recently added the extra element of the cut-out. It was Day 216 of the campaign, but only the 2nd time Gary joined them on stage.

The Manchester-based band, started with 2 of their relatively recent tunes, Kool-Aid and Won’tcha.
The set included their popular old song, Honey, which was followed by a song that can be described as their newest. In fact, Cards We Dealt has not even been released yet. It’s going to be their next release, probably within the next couple of months.
And right after that, it was time for a change of tempo and mood, with the only ballad in the set. Day By Day. What a beautiful song, what an anthem. Day By Day is a powerful ballad that always gets the crowd to join in and sing along. The only slow number in a set of 17 songs. You get the feeling, the song was written with live shows in mind.
I Wanna Go
I Wanna Go is one of their newest songs. It’s more pop than rock and, like most of the other songs, it gets the crowd to join in. It starts with the phrase “How did you get there” which is the title of their latest EP.
It was followed by Believe Me, Butlins and Darling, before the band ended the show with the very popular cheeky song, I Don’t Mind.
The Grace was sold out and the crowd enjoyed a totally feel-good pop-rock show, with high tempo, catchy choruses and riffs.
Next, Gary Neville and the band are heading to Sheffield for a show on Friday 19 April, before heading home to Manchester for 2 nights.
